MEET OUR EQUINE PARTNERS

 Generoso, more fondly referred to as “Gino,” is a 9-year-old Peruvian gelding who, according to his owner, is “an all-around good guy!” As you can see by his picture, Gino loves to play and have a good time. He brings us a lot of entertainment and laughs! Gino also loves to camp, swim, and play soccer. He has been ridden in parades, used

Gino has worked with Bluff & Ridge since its inception in 2023. We cannot thank his owner, Kathy Brost, enough for sharing him. 

 Meet one of our smallest and youngest equine partners, “Little Duke.”  Duke is a 6-year-old miniature horse who wears his heart on his nose!  He is very curious about everything and likes playing around. He also likes to get up close and personal. Duke drives a cart and goes under saddle. He is happy doing just about anything!  Duke has

Duke is owned by one of BREATHE’s instructors, Martha Airth-Kindre. She loves her little buddy Duke and even lets him come in the house to watch tv sometimes! 

Patrick is new to the Bluff & Ridge family and made his debut with participants during our 2024 sessions. Patrick is a miniature horse who is even smaller than his big brother, "Little Duke," even though they are the same age. Patrick is also owned by Martha Airth-Kindree and will be used for our smaller participants and cart drivers. 

Owl joined Bluff & Ridge in July of 2024. He is a very sweet boy who loves to soak up all of the attention and affection from our staff, volunteers, and participants. Owl is the first equine partner purchased and owned by Bluff and Ridge. Owl learned a lot during the 2024 season and proved to be a very steady mount for our participants. H

Johnny is a 20+ year-old grade quarter horse gelding who will join the equine partners during the 2025 season. He is an "in your pocket" kind of boy whose favorite gait is the walk, making him a gentle and quiet mount for our participants. Johnny loves to soak up attention while being groomed and is always in the mood to eat! When Johnny

Renee Stroh purchased Johnny in September of 2024 in hopes of using him in the program. Since then, he has been riding the trails, hanging out with the other equine partners, making lots of friends, and has even been ridden by Renee's dad!

Spyder is the perfect gentleman and is always ready to be saddled up and go for a ride! We know he is going to make the perfect addition to our team this year!
